For those who have missed out the exciting matches of Pesta Sukan!!! (esp Sharon cuz she misses me haha)
Firstly, Congrads to Extremes for Winning the Silver metal in Pesta Sukan 2008, Well done.
2nd Round of Pesta was definately one of the most exciting event, not suitable for frail hearts.
We got into 2nd round as runner up,
The 1st game was against Schools under 19. At 1st half we were leading by 1, half way thru 2nd half at one point of time, i missed a shot (as expected there goes ...hyjfkjabgtrhghsg) and some mistakes here n there we were down by 3 goals. Worried faces inside n outside e court. Luckily we managed to pull thru it and i shot the last goal. soon after time's up! We won the game by 1.

The 2nd game, we played with Schools under 17, they fought hard and we were down by 1 till the very last min we put the shot in and drew the game. It goes into extra time, 1st team to shoot in 3 goals win. Extremes had the 1st center pass, but some how we lost it. 17s saved it and at a rather far distance the GA SHOT it in. 17s had the 2nd center pass and again GA from a relative far distance chop the ball went in, devasting. Okays 3rd center pass, Extremes had it and put it in. 4th Center pass 17s, they brought into the circle and GA at the same substainable distance shoots the goal. Phew, it din go in, we managed to convert the goal. OKAYS 2-2, the deciding center pass. 17s had the center pass, excited, scared and hopeful, we oli need to convert this! 17s brought it to their semi-circle and took the goal, PHEW it din go in again, so we took our chances and brought it down to our attacking side. 17s defence tightened and we were crowding a bit. When the ball reaches Zhenyun, i went forward to stretch for it, Yanxiu went for it too, so did both e defenders. immediately i took my chance and ran backwards, ZY passes the ball. (ZY immediately raised her hand to yea haha) Yes thank god i shot it in!!! So this was how we won the 2nd game.

3rd Game against Nike. ding Dong ding Dong (cant remember the details ha) WE DREW ANOTHER GAME. Extra time again. Can u imagine the stressed out faces of the people outside... This time we din have such a scary encounter as e previous. We were leading 2-1 and i have the ball on my hand ready to shoot. Confidently i shoot, but e ball hits the inner rim n rebounded, oops die la... Pai ka jump rebound u know la as expected nike defenders gt the ball, BUT we managed to saved the ball back and Xiu saved e game. Hurray!!
This confirms our position to play finals.

Playoff n finals also against Nike. Confused over e 2 games? ok i'll explain. If we wins playoff we will be crown champ, if we loses playoff (as we did) we will play finals again as we were in e winners pool. Well a little disappointing we lost both games by 1. no hard feelings, i believed we all felt wasted as it was really close. Nonetheless after e long day we came in 2nd , every1 fought hard and played hard. well done =)
